Expansion of nuclear power generation

Kyushu Electric Power Co. announced on June 10 that Genkai Nuclear Power Plant Unit 3 in Genkai Town, Saga Prefecture, has returned to normal operation. the plant resumed power generation on June 15, then gradually increased output while conducting adjustment operations to check the function of each piece of equipment. on June 10, the plant completed a final inspection called a comprehensive load performance test, and returned to normal operation. At the Genkai Nuclear Power Plant, the regular inspection of Unit 4 is scheduled to begin this month.

Since nuclear power is a clean method of power generation that does not emit carbon dioxide, I thought the restart of Unit 3 was a very good thing. I wondered if the increase in nuclear power generation is expected to lower the cost of electricity.
