Kumamon Pay begins service

Higo Bank, headquartered in Kumamoto City, began offering "Kumamon! Pay," a payment application that can be used to make payments on public transportation and at stores from April 16.President Yoshihisa Kasahara said at a press conference, "We hope to achieve sustainable development of the local economy through the circulation of data and money within the community.

We have recently heard a lot about local governments and banks creating their own payment services in this way.I think it will lead to the revitalization of local communities and will be good for both the residents and the providers since it will allow us to take data on the area.
